New Features For 2025
Let’s start outside, where this new Chevy SUV receives a new front bumper and optional 24-inch wheels alongside significant revisions to its front and rear fascias. Inside, you’ll find a new dashboard housing the new standard 17.7-inch infotainment system across all trim levels. You’ll also receive a crystal-clear 11-inch digital instrument cluster.
Performance
You’ll find two robust V8 engines available in the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe. The standard powerplant is a 355-horsepower 5.3-liter engine, but you can upgrade to a 420-horsepower 6.2-liter unit. If you routinely need your SUV for torque-thirsty applications, the optional inline six-cylinder diesel engine lays down a respectable 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque; with it you can tow up to 8,200 lbs.
A ten-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive are standard, with four-wheel drive on the options list. Furthermore, the air suspension option that was previously only available on the Z71 and High Country Tahoe models will now also be available on the RST trim version, making this option more available to customers.
Comfort and Cargo Space
This new Chevy SUV seats up to eight people. If you’re traveling with gear rather than passengers, there’s a 123 cubic foot maximum cargo capacity that’s easily organized with the sliding second-row seat (which you can replace with captain’s chairs if you’d rather). The wide center console helps keep the interior organized, and the storage bin under the center armrest keeps valuables out of sight.
Infotainment and Safety Technology
Of course you’ll want to stay safe on the road, and the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe is equipped for the job. Its standard safety features include lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist and automated emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection for your peace of mind.
Since you don’t need to worry about safety, you can spend more time enjoying the entertainment tech. The standard 11.0-inch digital instrument cluster keeps driving metrics in your line of sight to minimize distraction. Its “mate” is a 17.7-inch infotainment touchscreen that keeps Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, your favorite apps, and a Wi-Fi® hotspot close at hand.
