All three 2025 Chevy Equinox trims are powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Paired with front-wheel drive (FWD) and a new continuously variable transmission (CVT) this power plant achieves 175 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque.

You can also opt for all-wheel drive (AWD) with traction on demand and an eight-speed automatic transmission, a combination that increases torque output to 203 lb-ft. Moreover, a properly equipped 2025 Chevy Equinox can tow up to 1,500 lb.
